Storm Damage Roof Repair

Wind and hail assessments with clear documentation. We explain what we find — and we do not speak for your insurance company.

Ohio Valley thunderstorms, Front Range hail, and Texas wind events all leave different marks on a roof. Armor inspects after the weather passes, documents what is there, and explains whether a repair or replacement is the sound next step.

We can support insurance-related roofing work when damage is documented. We do not guarantee claim approval, estimate what an insurer “will pay,” or ask you to file a claim you do not need.

Hail Damage

Hail bruises shingles, knocks granules into gutters, and can split ridge caps. Some of that is visible from the ground; some of it only shows on the roof. An inspection is the honest way to know the difference.

Wind Damage and Missing Shingles

Straight-line winds lift tabs, crease shingles, and expose underlayment. Replacing damaged courses may be enough. If whole slopes are compromised, replacement is the more durable fix.

Roof Leaks After Storms

Water inside the house after a storm can come from a new opening or from an old weakness the storm finally exploited. We inspect flashing, valleys, vents, and field shingles before recommending a repair.

Inspection Process

We look at the roof, attic where accessible, and any interior stains. Findings are explained in language you can use with an adjuster if you choose to file a claim. Documentation belongs to you.

What Homeowners Should Do After a Storm

Stay off the roof. Photograph interior damage if it is safe to do so. Call Armor for an inspection. If you have an active leak, tell us so we can talk through temporary protection.

Documentation and Insurance

If you file a claim, your insurer decides coverage. Armor’s role is the roof: inspect, document, and complete the work you authorize. We will not pressure you into a claim or invent damage that is not there.

Storm Damage FAQ

If the home is taking on water, address safety and temporary protection first. An inspection can happen before or after you notify your insurer. Armor does not file claims for you or promise what coverage you will receive.
